The Kenya Hemp Conference was supported through funding provided by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (USDA FAS) Regional Agricultural Promotion Program (RAPP), with sponsorship and industry support from the National Industrial Hemp Council of America (NIHC), IND HEMP, and Bulk Hemp Warehouse. The conference brought together stakeholders from government, academia, industry, agriculture, and the private sector to explore the economic and environmental potential of industrial hemp in East Africa. Through education, collaboration, and strategic dialogue, the event helped advance discussions surrounding industrial hemp research, commercialization, sustainable construction, renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture, and international trade opportunities across the region.
